Agnieszka Gamza was born in 1974 in Katowice (Poland).
She studied in Wrocław at the Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass, Faculty of Ceramics.
She graduated in 1999 obtaining Master of Fine Arts Diploma with Honours under the supervision of Prof. Irena Lipska-Zworska.
In years 1998/99 she was a holder of a Research Grant of Minister of Culture and Art.
In 2000, Agnieszka obtained I prize in „ULAN. POLSKA SZTUKA DEKORACYJNA” (ULAN. Polish Decorative Art Contest).
After studies, among other occupations, she worked as a Design Department Manager (Cerkolor Sp. z o.o., Parczówek, Poland), a Scenic Crafts Specialist – Theatre Artist (Puppet Theatre “Banialuka” , Bielsko-Biała, Poland), an Art Matters and Customer Service Assistant (Beskidzka Galeria Sztuki, Szczyrk, Poland), but above all, she fulfiled herself as a ceramic artist in Poland and France.
Her works were shown on many popular exhibitions in Poland (Warsaw, Wrocław, Lublin, Wałbrzych, Poznań, Gdańsk, Łódź) and in France (Paris).
Some of Agnieszka’s works can be found in the Museum of Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (Poland) and in private collections in Poland and France.
Works of Agnieszka Gamza were published in such magazines as: “Dobre Wnętrze”, “Stylowy Dom”, “Inwestor & Dekorator”, “ Galeria. Styl i Sztuka”, “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
Since 2011 Agnieszka Gamza runs her active and permanently developing author’s atelier named GAMZA CERAMIK STUDIO.
GAMZA CERAMIK STUDIO has been created because of the strong needs of fulfilling dreams and living from work which is a true passion that constantly sets challenges and never gets boring.
GAMZA CERAMIC STUDIO organizes professional ceramic workshops for children, teenagers and adults, and also provides a design and implementation service.
Due to own and EU’s funds it was possible to create a really nice and pleasant working place.
The studio is well-equipped – it has especially ordered kiln for ceramic firing which can reach very high temperatures.
The kiln was designed for firing works of small and large size (dimensions of a chamber: 70x70x 100 cm), what gives a free hand and, at the same time, competitiveness in designing and realizing art pieces.
GAMZA CERAMIK STUDIO stands in opposition to mass production.
The Studio ensures ceramic services of the highest quality, pays special attention to solidity, promptness, creativity and genuine professionalism.
